Jody is our Director of Client Relations. She serves as the first point of contact with our athletes and families and helps them through the application process. She assists Richie in finding kids who are the right fit for SaWUSA. Burrows comes to SaW after coaching Women’s College Basketball at Navy (MD), Case Western Reserve University (OH), Oberlin College (OH), and Northeastern University (MA). She also was a standout athlete at Northeastern. Burrows resides in Tracy, California and is a native of Corry, Pennsylvania.
Richie serves as our Trip Coordinator. He interviews each athlete that is selected to apply and makes the final call on which athletes are selected for which trips. Richie also serves as an analyst for ESPN College Basketball games in the Winter. Prior to joining the SaWUSA Team, Richie coached Men’s Basketball for ten years at three different NCAA schools in three States: Austin Peay State University (TN), Wilmington College (OH), and St. Andrews University (NC). He played college basketball at the University of Evansville (IN). He has a M.Ed in Health & Human Performance/Sports Administration from Austin Peay State University (TN). He lives in the Los Angeles area.
Tim handles a lot of the back-end duties including marketing, website, athlete processing, trip planning, etc. Although he grew up as an athlete and coach, he has converted into a nerd. Tim founded STUDENTathleteWorld in 2009 after coaching Men’s Basketball at five different NCAA schools in four States over eight years; Hardin-Simmons University (TX), University of Wisconsin-River Falls (WI), Methodist University (NC), St. Andrews University (NC) and Wayne State College (NE). He also spent time as a high school coach in basketball, baseball, softball, and football. He has a M.Ed in Sports Management from Hardin-Simmons University (TX). He lives in Fuquay-Varina, NC with his wife and two kids.
